Book your Punta Cana VIP fast track
Takes about two minutes. You'll need your flight numbers and the names of everyone travelling.
What you're actually buying
Three things happen, and a person is responsible for each one
Fast track at PUJ is not a pass you show at a gate. It is a named member of our team who meets you, carries the paperwork, and does not leave until you are where you're going.
On arrival
You are met as you come off the aircraft, before the walk to immigration — which is where the queue forms.
- Greeted at the gate, name in hand
- Priority immigration lane
- Bags collected from the belt for you
- Escorted through customs
- Out via the private VIP exit
In the lounge
Airside, quiet, air-conditioned, with a view of the apron. Included on every departure package.
- Complimentary food and drinks
- Wi-Fi and power at every seat
- Proper seating, not a gate bench
- Two-hour access window
- Smart-casual dress code
On departure
The last morning of a holiday is the one you least want to spend in a line. We take the whole thing off you.
- Met kerbside at the terminal
- Priority airline check-in
- Fast track through security
- Fast track through immigration
- Straight into the VIP lounge
The thing you're avoiding
What the immigration hall at PUJ actually costs you
These are our own measured figures for Punta Cana International, not industry averages.
Thursday to Sunday is a different airport
Monday to Wednesday runs 45–90 minutes. Thursday through Sunday runs 60 to 120+. If you are landing on a weekend afternoon in high season, that is when arrival fast track pays for itself.
The honest comparison
You can book VIP directly with the airport. Here's the difference.
We would rather you saw this laid out than found it out afterwards. The airport's own service is cheaper. What you're paying us for is everything around it.
| Altura VIP | Booking the airport direct | |
|---|---|---|
| Arrival, per person | $160 all in | $100 + 18% tax = $118 |
| How you book | Online, card, done Choose, pay, confirmed | Email with ten details Service, date, airline, flight number, times, every passenger name and age, payment preference, pet and wheelchair needs, hotel, contact |
| When it's confirmed | Minutes | Up to 3 business days |
| When you pay | In advance, card Nothing owed on the day | Card or cash on arrival, at the airport |
| If your flight moves | Message us, we re-time it | Email, and wait again |
| Cancellation | 100% refund to 14 days out | Varies |
So who should book direct? If you are one or two adults, travelling midweek off-season, comfortable exchanging emails a week ahead and paying at a desk on landing — book direct and save the difference. If you are a family arriving on a Saturday in February and you want it settled before you leave home, that is what we're for.
Good to know
Which terminal is my airline in?
From 15 July 2026 Punta Cana International moved check-in for a number of airlines back to Terminal A, including Air Canada, Air Transat and WestJet, while JetBlue, Frontier, LATAM Perú and Aeroméxico continue to check in at Terminal B. The airport is advising travellers to confirm with their airline before setting off.
We cover both terminals, so this does not change your booking — but if you're unsure, tell us your flight number and we'll confirm it at info@puntacanaairportvip.com.
Straight answers
The questions people actually search before booking
Every question below is taken from real search queries landing on this site.
Is there a $20 or $25 fast track at Punta Cana?
Sort of, and it is worth understanding what it is. The airport itself sells a basic departure product — expedited security and immigration only, no escort, no check-in help, no lounge — at around $25 per person plus 18% tax.
It is not the same product as anything on this page. Our lowest departure package at $110 includes the fast track and the VIP lounge, and our concierge packages add a person who meets you and stays with you. There is no $20 arrival fast track at PUJ from anyone.
Does Punta Cana airport have TSA PreCheck, Global Entry or CLEAR?
No. TSA PreCheck, CLEAR and Global Entry are United States programmes and do not operate at Punta Cana International. Global Entry speeds up your re-entry into the US when you land back home; it does nothing for you at PUJ in either direction.
How long are the lines at Punta Cana airport really?
Before 11am, expect 30–45 minutes. Between 11am and 5pm expect 90 minutes to over 2 hours. Thursday to Sunday runs longer than Monday to Wednesday, and Christmas week has reached three hours.
With arrival fast track the same journey runs 20 to 30 minutes, whatever the hour.
Do children pay?
Children 5 and under are free. They still travel through the fast-track lane with you and still need to be on the booking so we have the right headcount. Children aged 6 to 17 are charged at the standard per-person rate.
Is transportation to my hotel included?
No — the packages cover the airport itself. Many guests already have transfers included with their resort or tour operator, so we don't bundle a car you may not need. If you do want a private vehicle at the VIP exit, ask when you book and we'll price it.
What happens if my flight is delayed or changed?
We track the flight number on your booking and move with it — no rebooking, no extra charge. If you need to cancel entirely, you receive a 100% refund up to 14 days before your service date.
Settle it now, and don't think about the airport again
Pick your package, pay, and it's confirmed before you close the tab.
